Aims
- To introduce the Action Learning Methodology as an effective practice.
- To develop awareness, skills and knowledge pertaining to the facilitation of Action Learning Sets.
- To offer participants a forum for developing their own style and way of being around the application and practice of Action Learning.
Objectives: Participants will achieve these aims by:
- Engaging in the experiential learning journey and undertaking a self-reflective approach throughout.
- Committing to the application of skills and methodology in practice sessions.
- Assessing and providing feedback to peers as a means of developing learning for self and others.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the 3 day course participants will have:
- Gained an understanding of Action Learning, its purpose and its origins.
- Learned a tried and tested format for facilitating effective group outcomes.
- Learned by doing through experience of applying skills and strategies within the safe environment of the group.
- Have been assessed by self, peers and trainers in the delivery of Action Learning Facilitation.
- Have the option to achieve ILM Certification through the submission of their learning reflections.
