Advanced Certificate in Coaching Practice

Advanced Certificate in Coaching Practice (ACCP)

ONLINE TRAINING

Accreditated by the Association of Coaching

The ACCP is now delivered through our new Mindful Talent Coaching Academy - a joint venture between Acorn Principle Plus and Mindful Talent.

The next course kicks off on 5th November, 2017.

This accredited coach training programme contains three modules:

Module 1: The Coaching Practitioner - a course which can be taken as a stand-alone course or as the first step to becoming a high quality, accredited Coach.

This online programme is based on self-determined learning principles and high level experiential training. From involvement in this first module, you will gain an understanding of the ACORN Coaching Framework, the underpinning skills, principles and the neuroscientific base in module 1.

Module 2: Deepening your Coaching Capacity -  allows us to step further into the competency based approach to deepen your capacity as a coach. Sir John Whitmore highlighted the two core functions of the coaching process as: raising self-awareness and increasing personal responsibility. Both these functions apply to the Coach as well as to the coachee. In the second module we will take a longer view and focus on deepening your awareness of yourself and your coaching presence over the coming weeks. Module 2 is interested in how to maintain your own development as well as increasing awareness and insight in the coachee.

To help you do this we will be adding some useful models to your Coaching Tool Kit to support your intention of becoming the best coach you can be.

Module 3: Build your coaching practice -  is where you will pull all of the skills, experience, knowledge and understanding together and begin to apply it in real life situations.  You will build a Coach Portfolio as part of the rigorous assessment process ensuring a depth of quality to your coaching practice.  A high level of support is offered to ensure that our candidates become top quality coaches by the end of whichever way they choose to complete the course. The main part of the assessment will be to complete a live coaching session.  Full feedback and recommendations to improve your practice will be provided.
