Team Coaching ILM Endorsed

The Acorn Team Coaching programmes aim to equip Coaches with the skills and confidence to nurture high performing teams and successful individuals within a group coaching context. 

Objectives

Throughout the 2-day experiential learning process, participants will acquire skills and knowledge through taking part as a team member and by taking turns in the Team Coaching role. Together participants will learn how to support a team in developing: 

•  A shared vision for the team’s performance
• A common purpose that will take the team onto a higher level of functioning
• An understanding of the benefits effective teamwork can bring 

Participants will also gain:

• Clarity on the differences between team and group coaching
• A working knowledge and skills to deliver both processes with confidence
• Validation from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) in the form of Endorsed Certification. 

Our highly experienced coach/trainers will take participants on a learning journey that combines a range of team development processes with theoretical models and an exciting new coaching methodology.  The tried and tested Tuckman’s Team Development Process forms the basis of the journey and the participant’s engagement with the process will bring the times of sharing and reflection after practice sessions to life.  The training takes place within a safe learning environment where trust and expert facilitation provide a positive platform on which to try out new skills and ideas. 

Full training materials and a useful course manual will provide a valuable resource to support ongoing development.
